The Royal Typewriter
A gift from Grandma Mary and Grandpa Norbert.
I picked it up last Friday from Iowa Business Machines Inc. in Waterloo, Iowa (one of the few places left to service such fantastic machines). It has been cleaned, tabs adjusted and outfitted with new ribbons.
Its clicks and clacks and zips won me over from the very first salutation. An appreciation for spelling has come back to my fingers and I am now in hot pursuit of a dictionary as fantastic as this typewriter.
