For my good friend Sarah's birthday I explored the button aisle. And I must say that picking out a tray full of beautiful buttons was the best shopping I've done in a while. I used an old map to wrap up the gift and typed a tag on my Royal typewriter.
My thoughts on the tag pretty much sum up my experience in the fabric store:
There is a lot to be said about a store's button aisle. Perhaps the most important being that a person of creative mind can nearly become delirious, downright irrational with selection. They may very well need to be rescued.
And let me tell you - I spent a good deal of time picking out and putting back. But, oh my, it was so much fun.
