After a very arduous and snowy trek to pack out the deer, Jenna, Dad and fellow hunters processed the deer. Meat that would be used later for canning was cut into cubes and frozen in large plastic bags.
A couple of weekends ago we thawed Jenna's Christmas beast and set to work canning it for many yummy suppers. Tutorial is below.
